<br>The Fair Housing Act protects individuals from discrimination when they are renting or buying a home, getting a mortgage, looking for housing support, or taking part in other housing-related activities.<br>

Fair Housing Information<br>
<br>Find information listed below on who and what is covered under the law.<br>
<br>The Fair Housing Act forbids discrimination in housing since of:<br>
<br>- Race.
<br>- Color.
<br>- National Origin.
<br>- Religion.
<br>- Sex.
<br>- Familial Status.
<br>- Disability.
<br>
What Is Prohibited?<br>
<br>In the Sale and Rental of Housing:<br>
<br>It is [unlawful discrimination](https://parvanicommercialgroup.com) to take any of the following actions since of race, color, faith, sex, special needs, familial status, or national origin:<br>
<br>- Refuse to lease or offer housing.
<br>- Refuse to work out for housing.
<br>- Otherwise make housing not available.
<br>- Set various terms, conditions or benefits for sale or leasing of a residence.
<br>- Provide a person various housing services or facilities.
<br>- Falsely deny that housing is offered for assessment, sale or leasing.
<br>- Make, print or publish any notice, statement or ad with respect to the sale or leasing of a home that shows any preference, restriction or discrimination.
<br>- Impose various sales costs or rental charges for the sale or leasing of a house.
<br>- Use various certification criteria or applications, or sale or rental standards or treatments, such as income requirements, application requirements, application costs, credit analyses, sale or rental approval treatments or other requirements.
<br>- Evict a renter or an occupant's visitor.
<br>- Harass a person.
<br>- Fail or delay performance of upkeep or repair work.
<br>- Limit benefits, services or facilities of a residence.
<br>- Discourage the purchase or leasing of a home.
<br>- Assign a person to a specific structure or neighborhood or area of a building or area.

In Mortgage Lending:<br>

<br>- Refuse to make a mortgage loan or supply other monetary help for a residence.
<br>- Refuse to supply info concerning loans.

Harassment:<br>
