Erectile dysfunction medicines seized in Glengormley

Large amounts of unlicensed medications have been taken by Department of Health authorities throughout a search of a house in Glengormley.
A male was interviewed by department officers about importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications by means of the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department's Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: "It is crucial that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be dangerous.
"These kinds of items being sold, normally online, have actually gone through no quality assurance and there can be no warranty about their safety.
"You just do not know what you are taking or the conditions these products were made in. More notably, you do not understand the impact drugs like this may have on your health."
